Isn't this what I pay my accountant or bookkeeper to already keep on top of?
Sorry, but it's not. While having a good accountant or bookkeeper is both valuable and sensible, it's not their job to take care of the planning and managing your finances. They are the 'score keepers', who keep your 'books' up to date, do your tax and provide you with your financial statements. They also have lots of other clients, to do the same thing for. It's your business, so it's up to you, to understand the implications of what they prepare for you.
